“ This is crazy that it's my first time writing a review for joes deli. Not once have I walked and didn't feel at home. Some of the best customer service. You can always count on getting a sample of something walking into joes. I wish I knew them by name but all of them are cool and super friendly. I'm a Bella Donna kind of guy but there is something for everyone at joes deli ”
“ The staff that helped me was kind and quick. The interior of the shop was clean and sell other items from Italy. I got the DSNY because it has all the components that I like. The filling was great, but I wish the bread was crusty and had more of a different texture that can elevate the sandwich. ”

“ Had the most amazing chicken cutlet sub here. You know when you have a picture in your mind of what something should be like, and it actually blows your mind? Yeah, that's how good this sandwich was. You can't beat the bread and they had a real nice selection of Italian deli supplies as well, from vinegar and olive oil to pasta and other items. A great alternative when the famous places are too busy. ”
“ Was recently in the Arthur ave area for a little Christmas shopping with my daughter and we had to stop into joes Italian deli. If you have never been there your in for a treat. Behind the back counter where you order is a huge double cooler with glass doors stacked with cuts of delicious Italian meats. As they take orders the meats are taken out, brought to a slicer and made into delicious sandwiches. All the sandwiches have a New York inspired names. I had the uncle Frank. Thin sliced Italian prosciutto piled high with slices of fresh mozzarella roasted red peppers and balsamic vinaigrette. All served on a delicious fresh chewy sesame topped roll. You do have an option of eating there but we had to get going and even hours later it was an incredible sandwich! Wish we lived closer!! ”

“ I've heard so many amazing things about this place and because I'm currently staying in Little Italy, it felt like a perfect spot to check off of my list! The staff was friendly- as soon as I walked in they offered me a hunk of freshly made mozzarella which was DELISH. I ended up ordering some because it was so good lol. For my food, I ordered the Italian sub which was hugeee and fairly tasty but dry. I don't believe there were any sauces on there which was disappointing and I wish I would have it caught earlier so I could have had them add some. Overall though the spot is really clean and nice to look at! They have some lovely little trinkets and specialty food items that seem like they would be great to give as gifts. Definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area. ”

“ I am a huge Italian sandwich fan and ever since discovering the chicken cutlet with prosciutto I've tried many variations on this. With marinara without, but usually with hot peppers and mozzarella. This place has a version that is so good I might say it's the best I've ever had. And it was only 14 bucks and big enough to be cut in three sections (2/3 of the sandwich is enough for a hungry lunch) I will say that any time I see boars head at a speciality sandwich shop I find it odd (why have the same provider as every corner deli in the world) but this place is legit through and through. Excellent selection or sandwiches, premade foods, imported Italian goods, pastas, the works. I'll be back for more. ”
